A exceptional, fine and impressive antique Victorian English sterling silver presentation cup and cover; an addition to our Victorian silverware collection.
This exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver cup and cover has a plain circular campania shaped form to a circular spreading foot.
The surface of this silver trophy is embellished with fluted decoration to the lower portion.
The upper portion is encompassed with cast and applied fruiting vine decoration, with an applied moulded border to the flared upper rim.
This silver cup retains the original push fit cover surmounted with a large and impressive cast finial ornamented with scrolling leaf and organic decoration, securing to the interior with a screw fitment.
The surface of the cover is embellished with further fluted decoration, with impressive cast leaf designs to the rim.
The knop pedestal is encircled with fluted decoration with further chased foliate decoration to the rim.
This exceptional Victorian silver cup is fitted to a painted ebonised wood plinth, encircled with a vacant silver inscription band; the band may be engraved with a personal inscription if so desired.
The interior of the cup and cover bear the original gilding.

This magnificent and large antique Edwardian sterling silver presentation cup and cover has a Campania shaped form onto a circular spreading pedestal foot.
The lower bulbous portion of the silver cup is encircled with chased fluted ornamentation.
Either side of the plain upper portion of the body of this cup is embellished with an exceptional and large applied ribbon tied laurel branch wreath, replicating the border of a classic cartouche.
This impressive Edwardian presentation cup retains the impressive, original hallmarked push fit cover surmounted with an exceptional, fine and impressive cast sterling silver overlapping leaf and bud style finial.
The rim of this substantial cover is encompassed with an impressive applied egg and dart decorated border.
This antique cup and cover is fitted with two very impressive cast sterling silver handles modelled in the form of conjoined snakes, above a figural mask and Caduceus.
