About the Item
This antique Victorian sterling silver wine goblet is simply charming.
It has a wonderful engraving of a stalking dog to the front, very detailed it appears to be a retriever type dog.
It has a blank circular cartouche to the opposite side so could be personalised if desired.
It stands on a single flared foot with beading and has a single centre knop with the same beading.
A very attractive goblet with a fantastic design.
There is still some remnants of the gilt lining within the bowl, this is a truly beautiful piece and unusual.
Fully hallmarked for sterling silver, London assay office 1873, Charles Boyton.
Condition:
Good used condition overall with signs of use and wear commensurate with age, some light surface wear.
