About the Item

George V sterling silver small tray by Asprey Co. Art Deco period. Fully hallmarked Birmingham 1931 and Asprey London retail mark. The tray is of square form with concaved corners and moulded rim, standing on four squat feet. With nice simple detailing reflecting the Art Deco period. Originally used to present visiting cards. Today, the tray would be ideal for canapés and hors d'oeuvres, or as a display coaster for cut glass decanter or champagne bottle. In very good condition with no damage, there are some light scratch marks to the top flat surface. Delivery included to the UK.
