Charles Nicolas ODIOT - Important solid silver tray circa 1840/1860 Large rectangular tray with side handles mounted on four foliage legs. This tray has been mounted with a hammer and entirely chiselled with foliage, arabesques on a matte background. The perimeter and the handles are richly carved with flowers, foliage and fruit. Dimensions: length 72 cm at the handles - interior length 62 cm – width 43 cm Material: Silver 1st title 950/°° Weight: 4.130 grams Hallmark: MINERVA Period: 1st part of the 19th century around 1840 Goldsmith: CHARLES NICOLAS ODIOT Origin: France/Paris
