A fine and impressive pair of antique Victorian English sterling silver sparrow beak style creamers, boxed; an addition to our silver teaware collection. These impressive antique Victorian sterling silver cream jugs have a plain baluster sparrow beak style form onto a circular spreading foot. The body of each jug is embellished to one side with two impressive bright cut engraved crests, a stag's head erased and a thistle erect, leaved below the motto ‘Yvery’. The jugs are fitted with opposing scroll handles, each ornamented with a subtle plain thumb piece. These impressive antique cream jugs have sparrow beak style spouts. These cream jugs are fitted to the original hinged leatherette box with satin and velvet lined interior and push fit catch. The interior of the box bears the retailer’s mark ‘William Angus & Sons Silversmiths, 27 & 29 Lord Street, Liverpool’. A fine and impressive antique George III English sterling silver helmet shaped creamer made by Peter and Ann Bateman, an addition to our Georgian silver teaware collection. This fine antique George III sterling silver cream jug has a helmet shaped form onto a pedestal with a circular spreading foot and plain square base. The upper portion of the body is ornamented with a broad band of bright cut engraved irregular undulating decoration. The body of the jug is embellished with a pin struck and bright cut engraved decorated shield shaped vacant cartouche suspended from a stylized ribbon design. The rim of the body is encompassed with an applied reed decorated border. He surface of the square base is embellished with further bright cut engraved and pin struck leaf motifs and simple paralleling border.
