stained fruitwood handle.
Bearing London hallmarks, date letter for 1897 and makers marks for William Hutton
Sons, Ltd., together with an engraved dedication
monogram.

impressively large silver plated soup tureen by Elkington
Company of London with a capacity to hold 4 quarts.
The substantial oval body having open handles, richly decorated with embossed
engraved foliate motifs
centered by blank foliate cartouches, the conforming lid bearing engraved heraldic crests.
Raised overall upon a stepped oval foot, with the underside bearing impressed factory marks for Elkington
Co., together with date letter for 1884.
In extremely good overall condition, and priced competitively in comparison to similar examples in the marketplace.
