About the Item
Luxurious Desk Set
Ballpoint pen, fountain pen and small pocket magnifying glass in 925/1000 sterling silver with translucent polychrome fire enamels on guilloche in an early 1900s Art Deco style design. Pens diameter 1 cm, length 14 cm, lens diameter 3 cm, total length 9 cm with 6 mm cabochon lapis lazuli. Total silver weight 139 g. Fountain pen nib in 14-karat gold. Designed by Renato Salimbeni in 1960 with completely manual execution by artisan artists with a high thickness plate and large reinforcements inspired by ancient original artefacts and manufactured in Florence at the headquarters of the Salimbeni company, suitable for withstanding numerous high-fire enamelling firings at approximately 750 < 800° C.
