About the Item

Georg Jensen. Blossom coffee pot in hand-hammered sterling silver with bone handle. Model 2C. Hallmarked with 1933-1944 stamp. In perfect condition. Dimensions: W 21.0 cm x 19.0 cm (incl. handle). Magnolia (also known as Blossom) is one of Georg Jensen’s most famous Art Nouveau tea and coffee set and flatware collections. It was originally designed by Georg Jensen in 1905 as part of his tea and coffee set, with the full flatware range launched in 1919. The collection celebrates natural forms with a magnolia bud that elegantly spirals up the handle and finishes in a floral knob. The series is also characterized by its distinctive hammered finish, creating a soft, moonlit glow.
