About the Item

This vintage rare French sterling silver tea pot is beautifully designed by Georges Fouquet-Lapar in the 1930’s. It is stylishly decorated with an elaborate spout subtle banding. An elegant curved rosewood handle is attached to its body. The hinged lid cover is embellished with a sculpted raised finial. The base is signed L.LAPAR over PARIS. The hallmarks consist of two punch marks. One of these is the head of a gladiator. The other punch is diamond shape bearing the initials GFL. This is a high quality sterling tea pot created by a master silversmith. The weight of this tea pot is 25.4 troy ounces.
