Rare pair of German Salt-Species Cellars. An important matching pair of oversized salt and spicy cellars, created in Germany in the 19th century, circa 1870. These beautiful pieces has been carefully crafted in a three-dimensional triangle shape, with beautiful Neo-Classic patterns in solid .800/.999 silver and 24 karats gilding. The three sides on each piece are completely embellished, with chiseled mythological and organic designs, caryatides at the corners and mounted in three rounds sabots. Weight: They have a combined of 409.9 Grams (262.76 Dwt). Measures: 120 mm by 120 mm by 60 mm (4.75 x 4.74 x 2.36 Inches) Hallmarks: Each one is stamped on the underneath, with multiples German marks, the maker's mark, the city of origin, the silver assay mark and signed, "GERMANY .800". Condition: The overall condition of this pair is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the silver. The 24Kt gild is secured in the settings. Pair of shakers designed by Schofield. Beautiful pair of salt and pepper shakers, created in Baltimore by The Schofield Company, back in the 1905. This pair is from the iconic pattern named Baltimore Rose and was carefully crafted in the art nouveau style with a repousse of floral motifs in solid .925/.999 sterling silver. French empire pair of candle holders lamps. Exceptional pair of antique candleholders, created in Paris France during the imperial period of Napoleon III, circa 1870. They was designed with French empire neoclassical patterns, masterfully crafted with parts made up in gilt bronze ormolu and patinated bronze. Mounted in fluted columns pedestals carved from gray dotted Granite, with polished finish. Embellished with garlands and putties mounted in a four square and stepped bases.
