A fine antique Victorian sterling silver presentation bowl; part of our presentation silverware collection
This fine antique sterling silver bowl has an oval spreading form onto a plain oval foot.
The body of this Victorian bowl is embellished with embossed scrolling decoration accented with shell, fruiting vine and trellis ornamentation.
The decoration to the body incorporates a large scroll bordered vacant cartouche to either side, in addition to a smaller circular vacant cartouche to each end.
The flared shaped rim on this antique bowl is encompassed with a plain moulded border.
Condition
This Victorian bowl is a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in exceptional condition. The bowl has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition. Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the bowl are all very clear.
