Large American Art Nouveau sterling silver picture frame. Rectangular window in flat surround engraved dense and dynamic scrolls and flowers; sides plain. Top rail has shaped cartouche (vacant). With glass, silk lining, and velvet back and hinged support. For portrait (vertical) display. Fully marked including maker’s (IN Deitsch) and retailer’s (McCreery) stamps. Deitsch was active in New York from circa 1904-1915.
