A fine, larger sized antique American silver glass wine coaster. In sterling silver. By Kirk Sons. The silver rim with repousse flowers throughout and glass with a cut starburst to its center. Marked to the underside of the rim. Simply a wonderful Kirk wine coaster! Date: Early 20th Century Overall Condition: It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition. Condition Details: There are some expected visible scratches to the glass center, some light edge wear, some fine light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Maker: Kirk Son Marks: Marked to the underside of the rim for Kirk Son Inc. / Sterling / 26 Fineness: Marked Sterling for silver fineness. Measurements: Diameter: ca. 6 1/2 in. Height: ca. 4/5 in.
