Newell Co. Attleboro, MA. It began in 1896 as the flatware branch of Watson
Newell Co. They were makers of sterling flatware and souvenir spoons. A preserve spoon, also known as a jam spoon, is a serving utensil with a long, slender handle and a deep, round, or sometimes notched bowl, designed to reach the bottom of tall jars and easily scoop and spread jams, jellies, and other preserves.
