About the Item

A set of five hand made Sterling Silver highball or iced tea hollow sipping and stirring straws with abstract leaf shaped bowls. Mexico, Circa 1940s. The bowls are shaped as stylized incised leaves, the sipping ends are finished with flattened round bezels, the stems show the addition of a ball ornament. Beautifully made and heavy weight – 925 Sterling. 7.5 in. L x 1.25 in. W Weight: 2.247 Troy Ounces, total Marked: UXMAI Sterling, Taxco on the verso of each leaf. Excellent antique conditions with light patina.
