This exceptional antique George III sterling silver mustard pot has been realistically modelled in the form of a barrel.
The body of the mustard pot is embellished with applied girdles outlining the features of the bilge hoops and quarter hoops.
This fine mustard pot is fitted with a hallmarked plain domed hinged cover surmounted with a cast thumbpiece.
The mustard pot is fitted with a cast silver thread decorated handle, accented with plain pendant drop design to the upper terminal.
This mustard pot retains the original removable blue glass liner.
This exceptional mustard pot is supplied with an associate Victorian Fiddle pattern London sterling silver spoon, crafted by Charles Boyton (I) in 1848.
The mustard pot has been crafted in a highly desirable form and is the finest of its type you could hope to acquire.

We are delighted to offer this fine and exquisite pair of early Victorian solid silver tea spoons made in London 1842 with the maker's mark of Sebastian Crespell.
The pair features a highly ornate and desirable 'naturalistic' design with the entirety of the spoon-shaped as a leaf and branch.
Intricate engravings on the leaf bowls and the realistic form of the stem/branch indicate a high level of craftsmanship and artistry by the silversmith. Upon close inspection, the asymmetric and naturally flowing design is further apparent and is a delightful touch.
Not only are these spoons practical for a wide variety of uses from tea to desserts, but are a modest yet discerning addition to any collection or interior decor for a sophisticated and nature-inspired look.
The pair is gilded with a yellowish/lemon hue that has been worn and patinated in a very attractive colour/tone.
A full set of English hallmarks are present on the reverse side of the bowl.

This Centrepiece features an elegant lightly hammered bowl with a deep open work cover cast with swirl designs culminating in two hearts, one open and the other with a deep green enamel base. The Bowl functions with or without the cover and is both a function object and a sculptural piece in its own right. It is of excellent quality and notably heavy weight. The Covered Bowl is presented in a Gerald Benney tooled leather bound case with cream silk interior
