About the Item
Rectangular frame in 925/1000 sterling silver gold plated with two-tone enamel stripes on guilloché and fine hand engravings French Empire style. With 2 oval photo holders, internal size cm. 3.2 x 4.2 engraved in Russian Empire Fabergé style. External cm. 10 x 13. Weight gr. 178. Designed by Franco Salimbeni in 1974 inspired by previous frames always manufactured at the Salimbeni company headquarters with manual workmanship by skilled artisan artists with a high thickness plate suitable for supporting numerous high-fire enamel firings at around 800° C. The hallmarks struck to the underside of this fine Striped Rectangular frame include:
