A charming and whimsical set of handcrafted salt and pepper shakers by renowned Mexican designer Emilia Castillo. Made in Taxco, this sculptural pair is crafted in white porcelain with intricate silver overlay details and beaks made from pure (.925) silver. Each bird is individually modeled with incised feather motifs and delicate floral accents, with expressive profiles and varying postures. One bird stretches forward, while the other gazes upward—adding a sense of playful dynamism to the tabletop. Stamped on the underside: Emilia Castillo, Plata 0.925, Mexico.
