About the Item
This rare and refined French perfume bottle dates from the late 19th century and is a beautiful example of the Art Nouveau period, combining elegant materials with delicate, flowing decoration. The tall crystal body is finely cut with vertical facets and enriched with acid-etched decoration featuring ribbons, garlands, and stylized foliage, motifs closely associated with the Art Nouveau aesthetic and its inspiration drawn from nature.
The bottle is fitted with an original emery (ground glass) stopper, ensuring an airtight seal, a detail highly prized for preserving precious perfumes. The neck is mounted with a finely worked solid silver collar and cap, bearing the French Minerva hallmark, which guarantees silver of legal French standard.
