About the Item
Mid-Century Modernist world class metalsmith P Lopez G set of sterling silver candelabra candleholders. Made in Mexico, circa 1950s. Each piece design is of a stylized curvilinear form, with tulip-shaped candleholders in each candelabrum. The spherical accents are what make these identifiable to collectors and all who come across these designs. The spheres and curved forms of the two candelabrum can be configured and placed in an endless variety, bunched or set apart with some space between the two. Two shades of candles could be used as well to highlight the fact that these are unique, and not an identical pair. We'd love to see these added to a collection of sterling silver by Mexican artists.
