A fine set of 4 antique California silver place spoons. In coin silver. By Vanderslice. In the Comstock pattern. Monogrammed with an "S" to the handle. Fully marked to the reverse for Vanderslice Co., San Franscisco, California, and with a patent mark for 1869 or 1888. Simply a wonderful group of antique California silver spoons! Date: Late 19th Century Overall Condition: They are in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition. Otherwise, there is some light edge wear, some fine light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Maker: Vanderslice Co. Pattern: Comstock Marks: Marked to the reverse of each handle for Vanderslice Co / S.F. CAL. / Pat Mar 69 Fineness: Unmarked for silver fineness. Likely coin. Measurements: Length: ca. 8 1/2 in.
