About the Item

A sterling silver serving spoon, set with a piece of Baltic Amber, Russia, circa 1980s. The honey-colored, tear-drop shaped piece of amber is bezel set between two leaves. A twig form handle meets a bowl sized for jam or honey. The Amber is full of interesting inclusions, the spoon is in a pleasing naturalistic design. Marked: 925 5 inches L x 1 in. W x .50 in. H In lovely condition with unpolished patina.
