About the Item
A magnificent Set of 3 Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Comports. This Suite of 3 Victorian Comports makes for an impressive table centrepiece but can also be uses individually. Each Silver Comport has an ornate chased and pierced border of scroll and foliate patterns surrounding alternating cartouches and faces. Each cartouche has a unique theme showing animals, birds, cupids and flowers. Each comport has an engraved band around the center of the bowl. These Comports had a chases shaped column on a spread pedestal foot.
Made in London, England in 1889 by Henry Brasted.
