This exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver beaker has a tapering cylindrical form. The surface of the body is encompassed with impressive bands of bright cut engraved stylized floral and leaf style bands, segmented with vertical flute designs. The surface of each solid silver mug is encircled with two fine and impressive broad bands of tooled decoration, in addition to the contemporary bright cut engraved crest of a spur erect between two wings. The upper rim of each mug is encompassed with a plain applied moulded border. Each mug is fitted with a plain C shaped handle, with tapering sockets. The underside of each mug bears the retailer's mark 'Hunt & Roskell'. These exceptional mugs retain the original gilded interiors.
