An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Victorian English sterling silver soup ladle; an addition to our silver cutlery collection This exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver soup ladle has been crafted in the Albert pattern. The anterior and posterior surfaces of this 19th century silver ladle are embellished with the classic King's shape ornamentation, incorporating scrolling leaf designs. The terminal of the anterior surface incorporates the contemporary engraved crest of a demi-lion holding a fleur-de-lis. This fine example of silver cutlery has a plain rounded bowl with an impressive thread decorated heel to the reverse surface. Condition This antique 19th century silver ladle is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. Full hallmarks struck to the reverse are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the exceptional gauge of silver.
