This exceptional pair of antique Victorian cast sterling silver gilt grape shears has a hinged scissor action. The handles of these grape scissors are embellished with plain intertwining stems to double antique dolphin decorated fingerpieces, accented with details reproducing the scales, in addition to a shell motif. The circular hinged portion is embellished with a man in the moon mask design. The grape shears are fitted with flat engraved scrolling leaf decorated blades, with a rounded outer edge.
