About the Item

Artfully decorated silver gilded table clock by a Viennese master: Flat, honeycomb-shaped base plate with palmette relief on the sides, standing on six dolphin feet attached to the corners, richly decorated with sculpted, chiselled volute and tendril elements, a green marble ball attached in the centre surrounded by pearls, river pearls and enamel decorations, columns with sculpted dragon heads placed on two opposite corners supporting the round clock case, which is extended by four openwork points to appear as a square standing on its tip, round recessed dial with chased Arabic numerals filled with black enamel, richly decorated with chiselled and sculpted volutes, tendrils and flowers, with set turquoise stones and river pearls. All silver surfaces gold-plated. The movement has been checked by a master watchmaker, completely cleaned and is fully functional. Winding key included. Made around 1880 Dimensions: Height: 15,0 cm / 5.90 in Width: 10,0 cm / 3.93 in Depth: 8,5 cm / 3.34 in Gross weight: 343 Grams / 32.79 troy Oz Best overall condition, movement checked by a master watchmaker, completely cleaned and fully functional.
