About the Item
This vintage rare sterling silver heart shape Valentine jewel box dates from the early 20th century. The sterling jewel box is beautifully chased with an overall motif of detailed scrolls and flowers. The floral patterns dramatically heighten a heart shape center shield with a scripted monogram. The lucious interior is a red velvet compartment for jewelry. It is certainly a beautiful romantic gift for that someone special, especially on Valentine's Day!
The dark areas at the top and sides of the box are shadows. The silver is bright and not at all discolored.
