19th Century Dutch crystal with silver set by Jacobus van Vorst Rotterdam, 1858
A Crystal sugar sifter and mustard pot with silver mounted top and lid, raised on a silver foot.
The silver has scrolls and floral pattern engravings. The silver is hallmarked with the Dutch silver hallmark "Sword" This hallmark is used in The Netherlands on silver between 1814 and 1906. The master sign is from Jacobus van Vorst (marked between 1845-1862). The Year letter is Y for the Year 1858.
The measurement of the mustard pot is 18 cm high, 11 cm wide and the depth is 8 cm
The sifter is 15,5 cm high and 6 cm diagonal
The total weight is 428 grams
