No matter the location, monkeys and circus themes remained a design staple of the iconic restaurant. Although the landmark restaurant's NYC doors are now closed.
Villeroy
Boch custom porcelain oval plates for Osterio del Circo (Le Cirque) restaurants. Designed by Adam D. Tihany. The plates with red trapeze artist, tightrope and ladder. Marked on verso designed by Adam D. Tihany exclusively for Osteria del Circo. Plates were used in Le Cirque New York after 1995.
Measurements: 11" x 8 1/2" x 3/4"
Condition: Service and glaze wear consistent with repeated restaurant use, no chips or cracks.
