About the Item
Pito kettle, a well-known design piece produced by the Italian manufacturer Alessi. It was designed by the renowned Canadian-American architect Frank Gehry in 1992. The body is made of 18/10 mirror-polished stainless steel, while the handle and the cap (which serves as a whistle) are made of mahogany wood. This kettle is not just a functional kitchen item but is widely regarded as a sculptural work of art.
Dimensions: 9 1/2" L, 7" D and 9" H
Condition: Please see detail photos. Various signs of age and use include loss to some of the plastic stopper but stays put with snap in wire. Light scratches including a scratchy patch, overall consistent with age and use.
