About the Item

Springerle rolling pin, a specialized baking tool used to imprint decorative designs onto dough, particularly for making traditional Springerle cookies. Features various designs, from traditional motifs like animals, flowers, and religious symbols to more contemporary patterns. Old sticker indicates Irish 19th century. Dimensions: 18 3/4" L, 2 1/2" D Condition: Various time borne signs of age and use include stable age cracks to the handles, wear to finish along raised edges and finials. Chip to finial and along the outer edges. Please see photos for details of condition.
