Antique Meiji Japanese Cloisonne Charger Plate A fine Japanese Meiji style charger, plate or dish. Hand crafted, this charger plate is adorned with a polychrome scene with a beautiful yellow bird and a rose. There is also a blossoming flower and trees on the turquoise base made in the Cloisonne technique. The border features traditional foliage, and floral motifs made in the same technique. The backside is decorated with a swirl motif also made in the Cloisonne technique. Unmarked. Circa: Late 19th to the Early 20th Century.
