About the Item

This charming mixed set of antique and vintage pewter consists of nine measuring cups made in the 19th and 20th Centuries. The largest capacity is a liter; the smallest is a double centiliter. Each cup has aged well, having accrued a beautiful patina over the years. There are three discernible makers with their brands visible on the bottom, with one based in the Netherlands (Royal Holland Pewter K.M.D. Tiel) and another in France (Maison Le Seigneur, DeVerre). Eight cups have open tops and one has a hinged lid. All have handles. Dimensions of largest cup (liter): 4.5 in. width (lid) 6 in. depth (with handle) 8.25 in. height Dimensions of smallest cup (double deciliter): 1.25 in. width 2 in. depth (with handle) 2 in. height Condition notes: In overall good condition and structurally sound. Wear to surfaces, including scratches and dents, consistent with the pewter's age and use.
