About the Item
This elegant French Art Deco set of twelve chopsticks or knife rests is made of aluminum and Macassar wood. The modernist shape features a waved metal flat stick bar and geometrically carved wood sides. There is no visible maker's mark, and the set is still in its original gift box.
The tableware set is in good condition, with minor wear on the wood and aluminum. Only the storage gift box appears to be used.
Measurements (for one): 3.38 in wide (8.5 cm) by 1 in deep (2.5 cm) by 0.63 in high (1.5 cm).
Gift box: 9.88 in wide (25 cm) by 7.88 in deep (20 cm) by 2 in high (5 cm).
Note: Measurements in item detail are for the gift box alone. The silver-plate cutlery and Bakelite chopsticks are not included in the sale.
