About the Item
An assembled collection of 25 antique Chinese blue and white ceramic spoons.
Each porcelain or porcelaneous stoneware spoon hand modeled and trimmed. Some with an unglazed foot ring and others with firing spur marks on the underside. Each spoon decorated in under glaze cobalt blue paintings in a variety of floral motifs. All kept together in two blue silk padded collector’s storage boxes, each with five compartments.
Condition: Minor frits on some of the spoons, otherwise all in fine condition.
Each spoon measures approximately 4.5 inches x 2 inches x 1.75 inches.(11.5 x 5 x 4.5cm)
Each box measures 16 inches x 7.5 inches x 2.5 inches (40.5 x 19 x 6.5cm).
Total weight: 5 lbs. 7 oz. (2453grams)
