Dutch Art Deco napkin holder in patinated silver. The Netherlands, early 20th century.
Beautiful and very elegant napkin holder in a distinct Art Deco / Amsterdamse School style. Very good design with a triangular base shape decorated with fantastic details like the rim and the hammered surfaces. Both elegant and very useful, this is a piece of art deco decoration which you can use on a day to day basis. Due to this elegance it fits in a wide array of interior styles, from art deco to mid-century and modern. Very desirable patination on the silver plated surfaces with great colors and just the right wear. All in all a lovely piece.
