Dutch silver table bell by Johannes Antonius Melis s'-Hertogenbosch, 1860 A silver table bell with openwork of sawn-out and engraved motif of scroll leaves. On the inside a copper bell with silver bell. Various engravings around the bell and handle. The handle and bottom ring have a dent. The bell is entirely Dutch silver, hallmarked with "Lion 2" for 833/000 purity of silver. The Yearletter A for the Year 1860. The minerva head (Assayer's mark) letter is faded. The master sign of Johannes Antonius Melis s'-Hertogenbosch (mark used between 1854-1875) The measurement is 17 cm high and 9,7 diagonal The weight total is 168 grams
