About the Item

A Rare George III Caddy Spoon Made in Birmingham in 1807 by Joseph Willmore. The Caddy Spoon has an oval form, with raised fluted edge and a loop side handle. Most unusually, however, is that the centre is inset with a beautiful filigree scroll panel. It is most unusual to find filigree work by Willmore, as most was made by Samuel Pemberton. The spoon is in most excellent condition and is fully marked on the loop handle. Additional information: Length: 2.25 inches, 5.63cm. Width: 1.3 inches, 3.25cm
