An exceptional, fine and impressive antique George V English sterling silver caddy spoon made by Henry George Murphy; an addition to our teaware collection.
This exceptional antique George V sterling silver caddy spoon has a plain rounded bowl.
The surface of the bowl and upper portion of the handle have a planished finish.
The handle is embellished with a cast and applied panel depicting a rose bush with a paralleling rope twist decorated border.
The handle terminal is further ornamented with a scalloped border.
This impressive antique 1920s silver caddy spoon was crafted by the renowned silversmith Henry George Murphy; the full hallmarks incorporate Murphy's Falcon Studio mark.
Condition
This antique 1920s silver caddy spoon is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. The cast and applied decoration is very sharp. Full hallmarks struck to the reverse of the bowl are all very clear.
