About the Item

Designed by Jens Quistgaard for Dansk Designs in the 1960s, the iconic Fjord flatware was made with an insert in the center of the teak handles and stainless tops manufactured first in Denmark then in Germany. The Dansk (1) steak knife and the (2) dinner knives are from Germany. The faux Japanese Fjord pieces are from the same era. There are one of each, dinner knife, dinner fork and teaspoon. The only difference that we could find between the Dansk and Japanese issues are the metal insert at the ends are different and that the Japanese issue has smoother and slightly thinner teak handles. Good condition. Sign of use. A slight discoloration on one Dansk knife's blade and the By Present teaspoon has a few spots on the bowl. Please see all images. A Present soup spoon with burn mark will be included, not in count. All the knives measure 8 1/2 inches high and 1 inch wide blade. The teaspoon 6 3/8 inches long and the fork, 7 inches in length.
