A decorative set in which Just Andersen’s characteristic functionalist design language is combined with stylized animal motifs, adding both decorative and artistic value to the pieces.
Just Andersen (1884–1943) was one of Denmark’s most prominent designers of the early 20th century. He worked primarily in pewter and his self-developed alloy Disko metal, creating objects that unite functionality, simplicity, and sculptural strength. His oeuvre ranges from applied arts to sculptural works, and today his designs are considered iconic examples of Danish Art Deco.
