About the Item
A pair of identical antique Japanese copper serving plates with cloisonne enamel design. Late Meiji period, ca. 1895. Round footed pieces. Black ground color. The piece is decorated with a crane and eagle bird motif. Presumably a work of Hayashi Kodenji, 1831 to 1915, a Japanese cloisonne artist. High quality. Collectible Oriental Asian Decor, Tableware And Serveware.
Dimensions: Each D 12 in. All measurements are approximate.
Condition
Overall good vintage condition. Signs of age and wear. Has some scuffs and scratches. Has some chips and missing paint. Refer to photos.
