A Rare Indian Colonial Pap Boat Made in Madras circa 1840 by Lowe
Company
The Pap Boat is modelled in a very unusual design with slightly baluster sides and a partly hooded spout section at the front. The hooded area is engraved with a set of contemporary script initials and the interior is finely gilded. The spout displays a very elegant slender design. The Pap Boat is in excellent condition and is very well marked on the base.
