About the Item
A 9-piece set of fine silk (100% Thai silk) placemats and runner by Vila Cini, Thailand early aughts. In tones of sea green, moss, pewter and toffee, and featuring a short tassel on the top and bottom edge of each piece. This striking set, comprised of eight placemats and one runner, was purchased in Chiang-Mai in the early twentieth century from the renowned Thai silk boutique Vila Cini; this line of table dressing has been out of production for years, rendering this set incredibly rare. Exquisite threading, expert craftsmanship, and brilliant colors - an absolutely beautiful set that will elevate any dining table and dinner party.
