About the Item

Servizio di Posate in Argento (153 Pezzi) con Cofanetto in Legno Intagliato (Inizio XX Secolo) Servizio da tavola e dessert completo, composto da 153 pezzi di posate in argento, custodito in un elegante cofanetto espositore/contenitore d’epoca in legno intagliato risalente all’inizio del Novecento. Il contenitore si presenta come un mobile su quattro piedi torniti, realizzato in legno massello. La struttura è divisa in un vano superiore con coperchio incernierato e un cassetto inferiore estraibile. Gli scomparti interni sono sagomati e foderati in tessuto vellutato (blu e bordeaux) al fine di garantire la conservazione e l’organizzazione ottimale delle posate. La composizione del servizio, per un totale di 153 pezzi (peso 10,2 kg), è la seguente: 24 Coltelli da tavola, 24 Forchette da tavola, 24 Cucchiai da tavola, 12 Cucchiaini da Tè, 12 Cucchiaini da Gelato, 12 Forchette da Pesce, 12 Coltelli da Pesce, 12 Forchette da Dolce, 12 Forchette da Frutta, e 9 Posate da Portata assortite. L’oggetto è completo in tutte le sue parti e le posate sono in argento. Il cofanetto in legno presenta la naturale patina del tempo, compatibile con l’età e la provenienza del primo quarto del XX secolo. Nota: A. CESA S. C., ora CESA 1882, fondata nel 1882, dal 1920 fornitore della Casa Reale dei Savoia. Nel 1988 acquistata dalla famiglia Ricci e incorporata nella “Ricci Argentieri in Alessandria” (ex 20 AL). Dal 1994 CESA fa parte del Gruppo Greggio (uno dei maggiori produttori di articoli in argento e argenteria in Europa).
