A fine and impressive antique Victorian English sterling silver mustard pot; an addition to our silver cruets/condiments collection. This fine antique Victorian sterling silver mustard pot has a plain cylindrical form. The body of the mustard pot is embellished with pierced interlacing shaped arches accented with simplified floral motifs. The upper and lower rim of this sterling mustard pot is ornamented with an applied ribbed border. This fine mustard pot retains the original hallmarked hinged subtly domed cover surmounted with an impressive scrolling leaf decorated thumbpiece. The surface of the cover is embellished with pin struck decoration emanating from the centre in addition to a wriggle work stylised floral design. An exceptional, fine and impressive, rare antique Victorian English Britannia standard silver straight Trefid pattern flatware service for twelve persons; an addition to our canteen of cutlery collection The pieces of this exceptional, antique Victorian English Britannia* silver flatware service for twelve persons have been crafted in the Trefid pattern. The reverse surface of each silver spoon and fork handle terminal is embellished with a fine and impressive contemporary engraved crest depicting a bugle-horn stringed. Each Trefid spoon and ladle features a prominent and impressive, classic rat tail ornamentation to the reverse of the bowl. The original Britannia silver forks have three tines/prongs; these are highly desirable. A fine and impressive antique Victorian sterling silver three piece tea service/set; part of our Victorian silver teaware collection. This fine antique Victorian sterling silver three piece tea set consists of a teapot, sugar bowl and cream jug / creamer. Each piece has an inverted pear shaped form on to a domed spreading foot. The upper portion of each piece is embellished with a broad band of bright cut engraved interlacing scroll and leaf decoration accented with stylised shell designs. The decoration to the body of each component incorporates two shaped, scroll decorated cartouches: one of which is vacant, the other displaying a bright cut engraved crest of a talbot*. The teapot is fitted with a hinged domed cover encircled with a band of bright cut engraved strapwork style decoration. The cover retains the original and impressive, hallmarked cast sterling silver stemmed floral finial. The fine teapot spout is ornamented with concave fluted decoration to the lower portion in addition to scrolling leaf designs extending up to the lip. The teapot, cream jug and sugar bowl are all fitted with impressive C scroll handles ornamented with acanthus leaf decorated thumbpieces.
