An exceptional, fine and impressive pair of antique George V English sterling silver napkin rings, boxed; part of our dining silverware collection.
These exceptional antique George V sterling silver napkin rings have a D-shaped form.
The surface of these antique napkin rings are embellished with pierced and embossed stemmed floral designs, each incorporating a marquise shaped vacant cartouche to the centre.
The napkin rings are further ornamented with a paralleling plain border; the rounded posterior surface of each napkin ring is also plain.
These 1920s sterling silver napkin rings are fitted to the original hinged leatherette presentation box, with a velvet and satin lined interior, securing with a push fit catch.
Condition
These antique 1920s sterling silver napkin rings are an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. The original box is in exceptional presentation condition. The decoration to each napkin ring is very sharp. Full hallmarks struck to the anterior surface of each napkin ring are clear, in keeping with age.
