About the Item

Egyptian tea set for 6 people with original pot. Like the plate, it is made of solid silver. The stand is very finely crafted and originally belongs to it. The bowls are made of porcelain and are undamaged. The piece is in very good condition and has not been restored. Very fine and complex engraving work can be found on the silver. The weight of the silver is 3,5 kg.

This fascinating 19th century table, created in the style of ancient Egypt, is an outstanding example of the Egyptomania of the time. Made between 1867 and 1870, the table impresses with its elaborately carved, gilded and polychrome-painted surface. The table top is made of original black Belgian marble, which gives the piece a noble appearance.
