The surface of this vintage silver teapot is plain and unembellished. This sterling teapot is fitted with a hinged subtly domed cover and retains the original carved pear wood and hallmarked sterling silver finial; the finial secures to the interior of the cover with a wingnut. The lower portion of this fine teapot is embellished with batwing style embossed fluted decoration accented with subtly elevated rounded projections.
